- Bachelor's degrees
- Master's degrees
- Doctoral programmes
Admission requirements
Each institution sets its own entry requirements. Applicants generally provide academic transcripts and certificates, a passport and proof of English ability, and some programmes ask for a motivation letter, an interview or an entrance exam.
English language requirements
English-taught programmes usually accept IELTS, TOEFL or other approved evidence of English. The minimum score depends on the institution and programme, so check the programme page before you book a test.
Application and intake information
Most programmes start in September, and some start in February. Deadlines differ by institution and programme, so check each one early.
Tuition and living costs
Tuition fees for international students are set by each institution and differ by programme. Living costs differ by city. Use each institution's published fees and official guidance when you plan your budget.
Scholarships and funding
Institutions, the Lithuanian state and some European programmes offer scholarships to international students. Eligibility rules and deadlines differ, and no scholarship is guaranteed.
Visa and immigration
Students from outside the European Union generally need a national visa or a temporary residence permit for studies, supported by an admission document from the institution and proof of funds. Rules change, so check the Lithuanian Migration Department. This page is general guidance, not immigration advice.
